Back in 2010 I spent my time drawing and sketching out ideas that went on all in my head, until I decided to choose another medium in which I would realize these concepts. And ultimately, I chose video games.
Several years later, I sought to really build my skills in certain aspects of games, and figured that I’d like to try and build an entire game myself. this led to starting my journey in 2015 that truly molded the base of my passion in 3D art and game art; as well as game development and design.
Since then, I’ve made multiple solo games. Some I believe to be quite fine attempts as a solo developer, and others that mostly showed me that I could push far deeper into my craft and build my skills and knowledge further… and a couple games that were just terrible.
As a result of all those years, I have pin-pointed just where I’d like to specialize and refine. and those years have given me deep and vast insights in the very nature of what a game could be and how they turn out the way they do.
With the emotional understanding of games and 3D art, my technical knowledge bares mention as when it comes to development and art, understanding why things work inform how they work. and I think that it is important to carry and teach when I tutor others.
Science only teaches you HOW… not WHY. But that venture is held deep in developers hearts I’ve found. If I teach you nothing else in our sessions or projects, at least I can promise my insight with this as well as the technical sides.
