I have over 10 years of experience using multiple CAD platforms such as Fusion 360, NX 9, Solidworks, Autodesk Inventor, and more. This experience stems from my passion for design and engineering. In high school, I was on a robotics team as a machinist and designer, creating parts using mills, lathes, and other tools while designing actuating arms and other robotic sub-assemblies. I've worked as a fabricator, welder, and machinist, taking on jobs that involved building everything from airplanes and 3D printers to hot dog carts. My work experience has taught me the most important lesson for designers: how things are made. I will not only assist with your introduction to Fusion 360 but also your start as a designer. When using CAD, it's easy to lose sight of the big picture. Many times I've designed parts that were impossible to make, and I’ll help you avoid making the same mistakes.

I come from a 3D background in traditional sculpture and fabrication. Having worked for NYC-based artist studios for years. I am great at figuring out 3D solutions to help deliver your project from start to finish. ZBrush is the go-to program for handling high polygon count scans and meshes. I have tons of experience with 3D scanning technology, with all of the Artec scanners and Faro Laser Scanner, and can show you how to clean up your high quality scans and prepare them for 3D print, CNC routing, or game design and animation rendering. Interested in developing a character for game design or 3D print? Use your phone to create scans, or create it from scratch with ZBrush’s powerful sculpting tools! Additionally. I can help you prepare high polygon meshes for 3D print, making sure you loose no detail in the hollowing out process, and consulting about which printer to use for the best results at the lowest price.

With a degree in mechatronics, certificates in CNC/CAD/CAM, robotics, and other industry related education, my focus is on design and wide ranging fabrication. I have a decade of experience that includes running a Ford prototyping shop as well as a side business doing more design and fabrication.

Experienced with welding, sheet metal, CNC machining (routing, steel, aluminum, plastic, acrylic, and more), CNC routing, plasma cutting, 3D scanning, 3D printing, manual machines, reverse engineering, vacuum forming, and more. Using Fusion 360 as the core software, I am able to help with a large spectrum of projects and keep into consideration design for manufacturing factors.

With over 22 years of experience in teaching CAD, CAM, machining, and product design, I bring a wealth of knowledge and hands-on expertise to my tutoring services. Throughout my career, I have worked with a variety of 3D parametric modeling software, including Fusion 360, Inventor, SolidWorks, MasterCAM, and AutoCAD.

In addition to freelancing, I teach an Advanced Manufacturing Program at the high school level. This role has allowed me to work with a wide range of learners, enabling me to tailor my teaching approach to suit each student's unique needs. Beyond CAD, I have over 30 years of hands-on experience running CNC and manual machines, both professionally and as a hobbyist. This experience has given me a deep understanding of workholding, tooling, machining techniques, G-code, CNC controllers, inspection, measuring, and GD&T. I am also proficient in 3D printing, understanding the nuances of preparing designs for additive manufacturing.
