I am certified in CAD with experience in Sketchup, AutoCAD, and Blender. I can teach you the basic tools of Sketchup 101 as well as 3D thinking and visualization. I love teaching and helping people to shape their ideas through 3D design. My goal is to help you get past that initial struggle and learn the ins and outs of whatever you are trying to learn. My classes are tailored to my students and their interests, whether you are an architect or an interior designer, a city planner or a product designer, or anything else!​

Over 30 years experience with 3D CAD software as well as manufacturing software especially in the precision sheet metal field. – I remain current in SketchUp and SolidWORKS software as the software(s) evolves.

SketchUp allows a designer to quickly build a concept and much more including 3d architectural rendering.

SolidWORKS allows for a more parametric or geometry driven interactive design with “real world” implications.

I have over 10 years of experience using multiple CAD platforms such as Fusion 360, NX 9, Solidworks, Autodesk Inventor, and more. This experience stems from my passion for design and engineering. In high school, I was on a robotics team as a machinist and designer, creating parts using mills, lathes, and other tools while designing actuating arms and other robotic sub-assemblies. I've worked as a fabricator, welder, and machinist, taking on jobs that involved building everything from airplanes and 3D printers to hot dog carts. My work experience has taught me the most important lesson for designers: how things are made. I will not only assist with your introduction to Fusion 360 but also your start as a designer. When using CAD, it's easy to lose sight of the big picture. Many times I've designed parts that were impossible to make, and I’ll help you avoid making the same mistakes.

With 30+ years experience Juan S is a true 3D generalist who understands all aspects of a 3D project. His unique, clean and successful expertise is in: • 3D Modeling • UV Mapping • Texture • Lighting • Simulation • Architectural / Interior Design Rendering • Compositing • Broadcast and Motion Graphics / VFX background.

With a degree in mechatronics, certificates in CNC/CAD/CAM, robotics, and other industry related education, my focus is on design and wide ranging fabrication. I have a decade of experience that includes running a Ford prototyping shop as well as a side business doing more design and fabrication.

Experienced with welding, sheet metal, CNC machining (routing, steel, aluminum, plastic, acrylic, and more), CNC routing, plasma cutting, 3D scanning, 3D printing, manual machines, reverse engineering, vacuum forming, and more. Using Fusion 360 as the core software, I am able to help with a large spectrum of projects and keep into consideration design for manufacturing factors.

Hi, my name is Geoff. I have been a professional designer since 1999, and a 3D modeling teacher since 2005. I’ve taught Sketchup at Front Range Community College, the University of Colorado and have taught hundreds of students online. My interest in SketchUp started with my love for snowboarding. I started designing and building snowboard parks when I was 18. SketchUp was the perfect tool for the job. It allowed me to quickly draw the 3D ideas I had in my head. In the summers, I started teaching architects how to use the program. Compared to the complex curves of terrain parks, the straight lines in architecture were easy. Over the years I made thousands of models and have expanded my skills to include product design, 3D print modeling, construction documents, Layout, piping models, topographic models, and various other projects. SketchUp has helped me realize my love for design, modeling, and teaching. I’d like share my love for the program with you, complete your drawings, and help you meet your deadlines.
