About Me
I am a landscape designer and water resources engineer for a landscape architecture firm in North Carolina. I have used Rhino for 5+ years for landscape projects and small structures from conceptual level design to construction documentation. I have taught 3D modeling, CAD, GIS, digital media, and computational design courses for landscape architecture master’s students at North Carolina State University.
Software skills and services relate to landscape and site civil subjects only. There is some interoperability for architecture and general modeling, skills, and documentation. I focus on passive solar greenhouses, sustainable site design, and computational modeling.

CNC Modeling
Rhino Grasshopper
Rhino 3D is a broad and versatile program with various capabilities compared to other 3D modeling software. The program has great flexibility with other design software like AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup, and Adobe Illustrator making it a great dynamic addition to your design, production, and documentation workflows. Combined with the parametric modeler Grasshopper, Rhino can be the tool for sculpting organic forms, analyzing a project, and designing with data.
AutoCAD + AutoCAD Civil3D
AutoCAD is a common drafting and documentation tool used by landscape architects and site designers to prepare construction documents using mostly 2D representations. AutoCAD Civil 3D has extra tools for modeling and documenting site projects using 3D components. The additional C3d tools make it easier to represent storm pipes, utilities, grading, cut/fill calculations, terrain, and many more aspects of landscape and site design. Tutoring and services may cover AutoCAD and/or AutoCAD Civil3D.
ArcGIS Pro
