Unreal Engine 4 and More for Beginners
Hi my name is
$40 / Hour
I am a tutor & freelance Level Editor in Unreal Engine 4. UE4 has many features, but I can teach you the basics in everything UE4 has to offer.
Howdy! My name is DeLayne. When I was young, I always loved rearranging my room and moving furniture around until I found the best possible configuration. Oddly enough, my talent for simply rearranging furniture sparked a love for Level Editing and Level Design.
Unreal Engine has been my place to go when I want to build beautiful worlds and scenes that immerse me in the environment. However, Unreal Engine is a full time job and very similar to a bucking horse, but eventually it will becomes your riding partner and your go-to outlet for creating amazing environments.
I have worked with Unreal Engine 4 for over two years now. When it comes to my knowledge with the software, simply put I have barely scratched the surface to this endless abyss. Epic Games, the makers of UE4, releases new content for it regularly and, often enough, it completely changes your work flow or improves steps/processes that you weren’t even aware of! As well, the software has taken a big change in the last few years. Mainly, it was a gaming-oriented software, but now it can do anything from simulations, engineering samples, cinematography, et cetera.
But no worries! With every new added feature and update, I am ready to face it head on and learn every bit of detail and pass the information on. I can’t wait to teach you about this amazing world of Unreal Engine 4!

Other Software for Unreal Engine 4
Level Editing is my passion and the field that I know the most of.
In depth, level editing refers to the following:
- Putting assets in your play space
- Making natural or fantastic foliage to enhance your scene
- Putting lakes, ocean, ponds or other sources of water around your play space
- Resource Management
- Finding Assets
- Optimizing Assets (Making them actually work)
- Manipulating the UV, Textures, or size so the assets look natural in your scene
- Landscape Texture Blueprints and UV Mapping
- Finding and Optimizing Natural Materials
- Sculpting the Landscape to fit your scene
Simulations have been taking the main stage for Unreal Engine 4 very recently.
Blueprints, math, and time are very, very heavy in this part of UE4. Simulations are often built on many, many hours of trail and error, but after the long journey you will often find a beautiful simulation that looks real right in front of you. I can get you started, but anything complicated may end up being a nightmare.

Engine Setting and Features
Unreal Engine is unruly and often times hard to navigate, but with a push in the right direction, finding the important levers and buttons, it can often lead your project to success! I will gladly show you every important button I have found and help your project succeed!
Blueprints in Unreal Engine 4 is the definition of Unlimited Power. With blueprints you can make your project do virtually anything, but with great power comes great investment. I have been doing UE4 for now two years and I still have not even scratched the surface with blueprints. I can get you started, but doing anything complex will become a nightmare.
The art of making movies and film are evolving. In Unreal Engine, the future of cinematography is being made. Be prepared for fun and interactive sequences and learning how to operate a camera in a 3D environment.
