After completing an MS Interior Architecture degree at the Boston Architectural College, and a BA(Hons) from Staffordshire University, I have experience using SketchUp Pro, SU Podium, SU Podium Walker, Revit LT 2020 and TwinMotion (basics) and I am familiarized with the online designfiles.co platform for e-design projects. I have been working with interior designers, architects and homeowners doing freelance 3d modelling and rendering work for 7+ yrs and online tutorials for 5+yrs.

I am certified in CAD with experience in Sketchup, AutoCAD, and Blender. I can teach you the basic tools of Sketchup 101 as well as 3D thinking and visualization. I love teaching and helping people to shape their ideas through 3D design. Whether you want to learn a specific software, or a whole computer pipeline, I am happy to help you learn at your pace to a high level of proficiency.

Many people struggle with software when they begin, and start to wonder if they are able to learn to the extent they hope. My goal is to help you get past that initial struggle and learn the ins and outs of whatever you are trying to learn. My classes are tailored to my students and their interests, whether you are an architect or an interior designer, a city planner or a product designer, or anything else!​

I am a SketchUp modeling and Enscape rendering tutor for beginners and intermediate level. I graduated from a 5-year Architecture program where I learned how to use various design software. I have been a tutor for over 5 years and have worked for Interior Design companies, Urban Planning companies and I have been a Freelance Architectural Illustrator for the last several years. I have taught and been taught by designers all over the world in 3D modeling. For SketchUp lessons, I use Enscape to create photo-realistic renderings. And for any pre or post rendering work, I can teach you the basics of Photoshop. I have a wide array of experience that may just give you the creative edge you’re looking for!

Hi, my name is Geoff. I have been a professional designer since 1999, and a 3D modeling teacher since 2005. I’ve taught Sketchup at Front Range Community College, the University of Colorado and have taught hundreds of students online. My interest in SketchUp started with my love for snowboarding. I started designing and building snowboard parks when I was 18. SketchUp was the perfect tool for the job. It allowed me to quickly draw the 3D ideas I had in my head. In the summers, I started teaching architects how to use the program. Compared to the complex curves of terrain parks, the straight lines in architecture were easy. Over the years I made thousands of models and have expanded my skills to include product design, 3D print modeling, construction documents, Layout, piping models, topographic models, and various other projects. SketchUp has helped me realize my love for design, modeling, and teaching. I’d like share my love for the program with you, complete your drawings, and help you meet your deadlines. No matter where you live, what age, or what ability level, I can help you realize your dreams in 3D!

I specialize in architecture, but I have a background in design-build/manufacturing and enjoy exploring all realms of art & design.

I enjoy teaching others about his creative process while keeping the lessons fun and informative. In my free time I enjoy camping, creating music, skateboarding, learning new software, and anything that challenges me.
